This palliative care physician asks whether terminally ill people really need to die at home rather than in a hospital or hospice vetter equipped to offer pain meds and support. My dad wanted to die at home and did so with a hospice's help, and it's never occurred to me that anyone WOULDN'T want to be in the comfort of home at that point, but, well, how would you want it?
