From The Valley Of The Jolly (Ho Ho Ho) Green Giant
-
This old guy in Deptford, New Jersey (motto: "That's a town? I thought it was just the nae of the mall") likes to feed corn kernels to squirrels in his yard. At some point, one of the squirrels probably buried a kernel, which explains how a corn stalk, which he initially thought was a weed, grew. And grew. And grew. It's now a world record cornstalk, 29 cobs to date. Normal cornstalks have one ear. This is not normal. But it's pretty cool, especially since it's so unexpected. (WPVI-TV/Philadelphia)
