Shouldn't Have To Ask
-
in Oregon, they're handling racial taunts at high school games in a particularly Oregon way: They're going to make an announcement before games that asks, “model good sportsmanship by refraining from derogatory cheers, chants or behavior toward students, coaches, officials, or other spectators. Any verbal, written or physical conduct relating to race, gender, age, color, national origin, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation or religion will not be tolerated.” That'll deter a racist homophobic xenophobic s-bag, sure it will.
