Back To Lipton And Tetley

You know those relatively new, relatively fancy tea bags, the one that are kinda silky and triangular? You and I just started to use them. One woman saw them and, because she's a professor of chemical engineering at McGill University, decided to check to see if those things are made of plastic and whether they leach plastic into the tea. Sure enough, those bags, according to a study she ran, do leach billions of microplastics per cup. Whether this is actually harmful to you, they don't know, but it wouldn't be something you'd want, would it? (CBC)
