What's a cell phone driving ban for? Distracted driving, yes. But in British Columbia, a woman was hit with a $368 distracted driving ticket because she had her cell phone charging in her cup holder. She wasn't using the phone and was not touching her phone. The cop read the law as prohibiting the phone even being in the cabin, outside the glove compartment or closed console. That's... extreme. And unfair. And the woman's fighting the ticket. (CKNW/Vancouver via Global News)
