You Know, It Doesn't Have To Be Hard To Be A Decent Adult Human
-
I try to refrain from using "Dear Abby" items here, because they're usually too obvious, but this one might be useful, a letter from a woman whose husband is intensely uncomfortable with coarse sexual talk among his coworkers at the office. See, I'm not a prude and I admit to occasional swearing, but I really feel uncomfortable with what Donald Trump would call "locker room talk." I never thought of or talked about women that way, I'm an old married guy now, and I don't either need to prove my credentials as a man nor want to hear about anyone else's private matters. So, is that being "un-manly"? Is that something to take to HR (not that HR will do anything about it)? Is that a hostile work environment? And why can't some people restrain themselves from being pigs at the office (or, for that matter, anyplace else)? (Dear Abby/Andrews McMeel Syndication)
