Do Not Pass Go
-
One thing we've known since it was invented: Monopoly takes too long to play. Way too long. There are ways to speed it up and come to a conclusion in a shorter time -- hours instead of infinity -- but what I want to know is how that game became so popular when practically no game ends with a winner. Every single time I've played Monopoly, the game just... petered out. Someone says "I'm out, I gotta go" and leaves, then another, and at some point everyone just quits. IS that fun? (BBC)
