In America, We Tip. It's How Things Work. Get Over It And Give Them 20 Percent
-
The previous story about low-wage and tipped workers brings us to the article a few weeks back from travel and consumer guru Christopher Elliot about how more people are not tipping while traveling, giving various reasons: It's not their problem if employers don't pay a real salary, tips should be included in the quoted price, tips should reflect satisfaction with the work done. All of that's reasonable, but not if you're the worker that depends on tips to live. Can you see both sides here? (USA Today; Thanks to Dave Elliott at WGUF/Naples-Fort Myers for the link)
