Guy Fieri's Guy Fieri, Even At Home

Discovery Networks -- that includes Food Network, HGTV, DIY, TLC, and others -- is discovering (no pun intended) that after spending lots of money producing its shows, it's getting perfectly acceptable ratings with cheap homemade pandemic programming, saving $300,000 an hour on average on production costs. Are the shows cheesy-looking? Yep. But people are watching, which raises the question of whether you'll put up with low production values once the pandemic's over. How much of it is that there's nothing else new on the air, how much of it is giving the producers a pass because you know they can't shoot either in the studio or on location with full crews right now, and how much is it that you prefer this to the "regular" style?
