Maybe Stupidity Isn't The Best Marketing Concept After All
-
How many business owners are going to post incendiary social media posts and then profess surprise when people call for their heads? When will they learn? In Florida, a local agribusiness and food store chain owner is facing protests and demands that institutional customers cut all ties because the owner thought it would be a good idea to go on Facebook and call COVID-19 and Black Lives Matter "hoaxes," among other things. And he seems shocked that people took this as racist and/or stupid. The thing is, was anyone on earth desperate to know what the guy who runs Oakes Farms thinks about the George Floyd murder or the coronavirus? Why did he think this was a good idea?
