At Least You Won't Get Questioned For Bathroom Breaks. You Won't, Will You?

It is not your imagination: Working at home really does result in your working longer days. And more email. And meetings, so many Zoom conferences. But, yeah, a study confirms that working remotely means you're on the job for more time, a problem I've had for over 20 years. You're always available in your supervisor's eyes, and you're afraid NOT to be available, so you respond to work emails when you're supposed to be off and you can't beg off meetings. That's the trade-off for not commuting and not being in a soul-sucking cubicle. (Washington Post)
