Probably Don't Want To Describe Something As 'Infectious' Unless It Really Is
-
The Giant grocery chain in the Washington area -- as opposed to the Giant from Pennsylvania, which, weirdly enough, is owned by the same company but for some reason operates separately (The More You Know...) -- is apologizing for something that would have been totally normal any other year: a page in their December magazine flyer touting their catering services for a holiday "Super Spread." Poor choice of words. If yu put your mind to it, maybe you can think of other formerly-innocent words and phrases that mean something else now. (Today Show via WRC-TV/Washington)
