Bring A Teddy Bear Instead
-
Following a change in federal standards, Alaska Airlines is the first to ban emotional support animals from its flights. Service dogs are OK, but emotional support pets are not. And this reopens the debate over whether a pet who calms you down is really a necessary travel accessory. (To be clear, as a pet owner, I'd say that there ARE psychological benefits derived from having a pet around. Not sure that it justifies bringing them on a plane, though.) (USA Today)
