Seriously, 1-800-273-8255. Keep It Around In Case You're Thinking Dark Thoughts

The Golden Gate Bridge has competition: Three people have committed suicide in the last year at The Vessel, a tourust attraction at the Hudson Yards development in Manhattan. It's a 150-foot-tall beehive-like structure, and people see it as a place to end it all. The owner has it closed while they figure out how to stop people from jumping, but if the guard rails aren't tall enough and they'd block the views if they were higher, how do you stop people from going over? And who should be responsible for it -- the owner, the jumpers, the architect? (And if you ever feel like those jumpers, please, call 800-273-8255. You're not alone and you can get help. Please.)
