Not Dirt Cheap

All due respect to Mike Rowe, but this article notes that you can make really good money doing dirty jobs. The image of the workers knee-deep in muck making minimum wage aren't entirely true: Housekeepers are still underpaid, but other cleaning jobs, like cleaning gutters or ducts, can get you a pretty decent hourly wage. Even things like assembling furniture or unclogging drains will get you good money. And with apps like TaskRabbit and no educational requirements, you can set up shop and do that without too much fuss. What would you be willing to do for money? (Yes, I know what your answer is and we're not going there.) (Los Angeles Times)
