Dr. Nick Riviera Lives
-
A doctor on Long Island is accused of killing five patients, addicts, by prescribing them opioids. That's bad enough, of course, but the real weirdness is that he was working out of his car in a Dunkin' parking lot and a hotel parking lot. I guess everyone knew what the deal was -- if you're addicted and desperate, you'll go to any doctor, even one whose office is a car (his previous office was a vacated Radio Shack) -- but how a licensed doctor ends up writing opioid prescriptions from his car for money will be the stuff of a future true crime podcast, probably.
