Now My Goal Is Just To Be Stil Breathing At Age Whatever

You do it. Everyone does it. You tell yourself that you need to hit certain life milestones by dates certain: Married by 30, kids by 35, President or CEO by 40, writing the Great American (or Canadian, or Australian, or British, or...) Novel by 50, you get the picture. But that, the experts say, is bad for you. Those dates are arbitrary and set you up less for achievement than for failure, and you don't need to put that pressure on yourself. What goals and dates did you set for yourself? How did that go?
