Start It TWO Hours Later And They'll REALLY Be Rested
-
An experiment led to results you could have predicted: When school systems start their middle and high school schedules later, teens get more sleep. Kind of a no-brainer, but here's how it played out: The start time moved to an hour later, and the kids did go to sleep a little later, but slept in more, with the net result being more rested kids. Maybe, just maybe, school systems should schedule by what's best for the students rather than what's more convenient for the adults. (CNN)
