Sorry, My Picker-Uppers Need To Be Quicker

You want to be green, sure, but one habit you have to break to be TRULY green is your use of paper towels. So wasteful! The Washington Post's restaurant critic Tim Carman tried going without paper towels for a week and he SAYS it wasn't bad, but I wonder: Reusable towels are going to have to be washed, because a quick rinse is not gonna do the job. If you use the washing machine, you're increasing your carbon footprint. If you hand-wash and line-dry, your home will be filled with drying towels, which isn't ideal. I'm not ready to give up the Bounty yet. (Washington Post)
