The Tab's Always There Once The Party's Over

We've been enjoying low-cost convenience for a while now -- cheap Uber and Lyft rides, free food delivery, everything steeply discounted. But that was all just to get you hooked. Now, those companies have to make a profit, and that means higher prices. This New York Times writer snarkily calls it the end of the Millennial Lifestyle Subsidy, which offered everything for prices too low to maintain for the long term. And so the prices are going up. Have you noticed? Will you go back to, say, calling for a regular cab or actually going to the grocery or dry cleaner or picking up your meals yourself now that it's going to cost more?
