If Good Sense Prevailed, The Pics Wouldn't Be Available. But Good Sense Never Wins
-
Somehow, the gruesome photos of a car crash victim ended up on the Internet, sometimes with mocking headlines and comments. And the victim's father is suing the police for invasion of privacy. I can understand a father's anguish and desire not to have his daughter's decapitated body become entertainment for the sick. But we're talking about something that happened in public. If you'd walked by at the time, you'd have seen her. How do you make that private? Considering how she died -- she was a cocaine user who took daddy's Porsche to escape a doctor's appointment and drove over 100 mph, clipping another car before slamming into a toll booth. She was reckless. And how do you stop the pictures from circulating once someone's posted them on the Net? Not that I can imagine any reason someone would want to see these pictures.
