Well, it's a relief, let me tell you, that McDonald's has decided that there's "no way" Ronald McDonald will be retired as the chain's mascot, even with all the do-gooders complaining that he promotes childhood obesity. Frankly, clowns scare the living s--t out of children, so I'm thinking that this is more of a deterrent than a marketing scheme.
