They tell you to use your credit card when you go overseas. One small problem: In Europe, they're using a different credit card system. The U.S. still uses magnetic stripes, while Europe has switched to cards with chips. And as a result, you can't use your card very easily. Since a lot of things -- for one, buying train tickets -- require a card, you're screwed. You'd think they'd fix this, but not yet.
