The cool Wired magazine iPad edition is an example of how desperate magazine publishers are that the iPad saves their business. Interesting how Chris Anderson, Wired boss, who wrote the book -- literally -- on how you should give your content away for free and find other ways to make money is charging five bucks for this issue on the iPad. Guess giving it away doesn't work as well as he told everyone it does. (San Francisco Chronicle)
