Did you know California universities are tuition free? But then you hear about students protesting how the cost of attending classes has gone up. So, what gives? Simple: They're "tuition free" because they won't use the word "tuition." They just pile on fees and that's what students pay. Now, there's a movement to be honest and call the "fees" what they are, tuition. Either way, they're going to go up. (Los Angeles Times)
