You disappoint customers over and over, you stand to eventually lose business when the public wises up. So it is for the video game industry, which can't any longer sell the public cheap, crappy video games based on new movies. Nobody's buying. The reason most movie tie-ins suck is that they don't leave enough time for quality game development. But they've always slammed quickie games onto the market, hoping to make a quick killing before word gets out that the games suck. Now, people aren't buying. (Los Angeles Times)
