A business built on giving loans to people who can't possibly pay them back, then collecting government funds and guarantees to make a killing? It's not just the subprime mortgage industry. Try the for-profit college business. They collect all sorts of funds by enrolling students, then, when the students can't pay their loans, it's the banks' and government's problem. For every government program, there's a scam. (ABC News)
