How's that "pay what you wish" experiment going at a Panera Bread outlet in St. Louis? They say it's going well and they plan to do more, but it should be noted that it's not exactly all sweetness and light there; they put not-too-subtle pressure on patrons to pay more, and they complain when someone doesn't. There's someone at the door to "explain" the concept. Is cheap food worth getting the pressure treatment? (USA Today)
