Did you read that earlier story about the small town city manager here in L.A. County who is making nearly $800,000 a year? And how they're finally trying to force him out of office? Here's the kicker: If he has to leave office, he'll be eligible for a $600,000-a-year pension for the rest of his life. The poloce chief would make a $411,300-a-year pension. Do you have any further question that the public employee pension system is the biggest problem states have right now? How the hell can they justify this? (Los Angeles Times)
