If you're BP, do you change your name or stick it out? You could do the Tylenol thing, plow ahead, do a better PR job, and hope for a rebound, or you could just use one or the other of your subsidiary company names -- Amoco or Arco -- and see if that works. ValuJet came back as "AirTran," so there's precedent for that, too. (USA Today)
