You know a trend is really a trend when it draws both parodies and sponsors. That's the case with "haul videos," which, we've previously noted, feature teenage airhead girls bragging about their latest purchases. Some guys in San Francisco are getting attention with a web site parodying the videos, while teens with lots of hits for their videos are drawing attention from retailers like JC Penney, who fly them someplace and give them free stuff to talk about, because, unlike for TV and radio and newspapers, the girls aren't bound by, you know, ethics and stuff.
