Dibs On The Rights To 'Hopscotch, The Movie'
-
Hollywood producers are negotiating to buy the rights to the story of a jump rope team. No, really, they want to tell the story of how the Kings Firecrackers became so awesome that they ended up on Letterman, the Macy's parade, a presidential inauguration, and the pinnacle of show business, the Jerry Lewis telethon. All about jump rope. I'd say that they were out of ideas, but if they can make hit movies about cheerleading and krumping, why not jumping rope? (Dayton Daily News)
