BRIEF CAREER SYNOPSIS:
After graduating high school, I joined KQKS (KS1075)/Denver, CO as an intern while attending school at the Ohio Center for Broadcasting. Shortly after, I got hired in 2006 to be on air during the weekends/fill-ins. After that, I began my career doing middays with Max Media. While there, I’ve also hosted the night show, worked as an MD and APD.
1. What got you into radio?
As a kid growing up, I was constantly around music/radio. After my first tour at OCB, I immediately got hooked and decided to enroll after high school graduation.
2. What did you dream of becoming when you were a kid?
A mechanic working on specialty imports.
3. What was the biggest change in the move from Denver to Florida?
A few big ones; the weather, the scenery, the food, and not having familiar faces around. It’s a trip not ever seeing snow here, especially during the wintertime. No more mountains, just palm trees and a ton of water!
4. What might surprise people about living and working in Ft. Myers?
Instead of spiders crawling into your home, you get lizards. And falling iguanas from trees when it hits 40 degrees or lower. (Yes, it can actually get that cold here!) And my work building is considered a Cat 5 rain structure building, meaning it can withstand Category 5 hurricanes.
5. If you weren't in radio, what do you think you'd be doing professionally?
I would be my own boss, providing state-of-the-art space for music artists to develop stage presence, produce/record their own projects.

I like to binge-watch history shows, going to the gym, and trying out new restaurants with my wife.

Connecting more with listeners through social media.
