1. What was your last non-Industry job?

Don't laugh!!! I sold commercial carpet and made a TON of money at it!!!

2. Why Radio?

I was attending BAYLOR UNIVERSITY in WACO, TEXAS and had a few elective credits to burn. I wound up hosting the Jazz show on Wednesday afternoons from 3p-5p on 107.1 KWBU. I was hooked! The next year 106.1 KISS FM signed on in DALLAS and I knew I had to, one day, be on the air at that station!!

3. If you weren't in Radio, what do you think you'd be doing with your life?

Wow, that's a scary thought! I was originally accepted and enrolled at The UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS LAW SCHOOL. I'm sure at this point I'd be a washed out, divorced and miserable corporate attorney working 125 hours a week and making insane amounts of $$$$.

4. You've been kind of a jack of all trades at WBTS. What's your favorite job/task there?

My biggest passion these days is Imaging. In addition to handling all the Creative Services for WBTS I am also involved with KPWT/San Antonio, KPHW/Honolulu, WBHJ/Birmingham and a ton more. I also have an online imaging service for Rhythmic and Urban Radio, www.ATownSound.com. We are handled through SUPERRADIO and currently have about 50 stations on-board. 5. What about ATLANTA would probably surprise most people?

I love this city!! It truly is "The Hip Hop Capital of the World!" The artists live and work here, they are the city, they embrace the people and the culture. It's nothing to roll through the club on Friday night and run into LUDACRIS or JERMAINE. The next day you're eating lunch next to a Grammy winning songwriter. It's just how things go, there's no swarm of paparazzi. Everyone lives and works here TOGETHER.

6. What's the key to your solid relationship with your PD, Cagle?

CAGLE is the BOMB!! We work absolutely great together. As with any great manager of creative people, he knows when to get involved and when to step away and let us run with an idea or tangent! In addition, we both have been in the biz for quite awhile and come from the same school of thought. When a situation comes up we're usually thinking the exact same way. We back each other up extremely well.... that's what makes us a great team.

7. Who do you consider to be your mentor(s)?

CAGLE, JJ "WEGMAN!" RICE, STEVE SMITH, ED LAMBERT

8. You're trapped on a desert island for two years with one CD, one DVD and video game. What would they be?

I'd definitely need a mix CD with some GARBAGE, BEASTIE BOYS, LUDACRIS and some talk radio.... maybe NEAL BOORTZ, RUSH, etc.

9. You are given three market choices for your next gig. LA, CHICAGO or HOUSTON...which would it be?

That'd be a hard one. I've always wanted to program in LA but I don't know if I could live there these days...I've got 2 kids. We'll go with HOUSTON... I grew up in TEXAS. Can we make it DALLAS? I'd really like to go back to DALLAS one day.

10. If you had to exist on one type of food for 6 months, what would it be?

See question 9. I'm from Texas.... It's gotta be Mexican!! Ask CAGLE, he HATES it when I drag him out to my favorite Mexican spot just down the road from the station.

BONUS. CAGLE collects watches and plays cards. What are you hobbies and vices?

I play a pretty mean game of BlackJack myself.... Ask CAGLE... I seem to remember some money changing hands in my direction at.... nevermind.....

Lately, I've really gotten into producing music, making beats, etc. I've got a tricked out studio at my house with a vocal booth, pro-tools rig and lots of computers.

BONUS. A freak gravitational shift has takes away two hours of everyday. What would you sacrifice to make up for the lost hours?

Come on Pete!! Everyone else GETS TWO HOURS ADDED and you're gonna TAKE two hours away FROM ME!?!?!?!? That doesn't sound very fair.

With all the hats I wear around this place in addition to handling imaging for numerous other stations and running www.ATownSound.com, I've got my schedule pretty streamlined for efficiency. The only place I'd be able to possibly cut corners would be my airshift. That's it!! I need to voice track my airshift. CALL CAGLE NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! Imagine the extra hours that would give me in my day.
