I worked at P&C Foods in Syracuse, NY. I started as a grocery bagger, cashier then was promoted up to the meat department. I also made the announcements for the Seafood Roadshow in the Seafood department and was later released from my duties for making inappropriate comments over the loud speaker.
2. What got you into radio?
When I was 16, my high school offered a summer internship at Z-89 (WJPZ), Syracuse University's student-run radio station. I racked up tons of parking tickets on the S.U. Hill and wasn't even getting paid ... I didn't care! I knew RADIO was going to consume my life.
3. What's your favorite aspect of being on-air?
I love waking up at 2:30 AM and knowing today is going to be a fun, funny, focused and fresh way to entertain people. When I am out doing an event, it is so fun to have someone tell you what bit they love on the show.
4. What's the highlight of your career radio to date?
Well, I have been so blessed to work in Atlanta, Pittsburgh and Indianapolis; but getting to do personality radio on a morning show is by far the most rewarding experience to date!
5. Who is working with you in the morning?
Alana Maddox is my co-host. I had the pleasure of working with Alana at Radio Now 100.9. She is by far the best person for the job. Hard working, persistent, funny, smart.... I can't say enough good things about her, she truly is a star and great friend... plus she is probably the only person next to my fiance' Jamie that can put up with my crap.. haha!
6. How much of a factor is the Internet in your show on a daily basis?
We utilize the Internet everyday! Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, YouTube.... if you aren't making videos (Parody's, Behind the Scenes, Bits) for your listeners then you are in the RADIO business... I like to think I'm in the MEDIA business... big difference. It's not just Mic to Site anymore, It's Site to Mic.

7. Who do you consider your radio mentor(s)?
Phil Becker, Matt Warren, Jason Kidd, Cagle, Maverick, Chris Mann... list goes on and on.
8. If you could play a marathon game of poker with five other morning hosts (past or present), who would they be?
Scotty Davis, Cindy and Ray, Julian, MoJo, The Bert Show
9. What makes you laugh?
Alana my co-host and Intern Richie always know how to get me laughing... Anything stupid or outside the box! I love late night T.V. Chelsea Handler (Which we are campaigning to get on her show) Jimmy Fallon, Letterman, Conan.
10. Ever interview an artist or celebrity that you may have had significant preconceptions about and they turned out to be totally off-base?
Yeah, P. Diddy... I thought he was going to be an ass; but he turned out to be one of the nicest guys. We even partied in Atlanta for his Press Play Album Release and talked for about 16 minutes.... i timed it. Still waiting on that call from MTV Diddy???
Bonus Questions
If you and your partner could compete on any TV reality show, which would you choose?
Dancing with the Stars, even though I can't dance.
