BRIEF CAREER SYNOPSIS:
Started in 1998 with Hot 98.3 as a mixer then slowly made my transition to on-air then into programming which for the past 11 years I have been ever since.
1. What was your last non-Industry job?
I worked fast food and Weinerschnitzel. Yes, I was a weiner dude.
2. What got you interested in Radio?
I was a DJ (turntables) and just being around the music.
3. What's your favorite part of living and working in Tucson?
The weather and the food!
4. I hear your doing some physical training. What exactly are you doing?
Biking, Hiking, B-Ball just to stay in shape.
5. Do you have interest in becoming a PD?
Yes I do! That's a goal I have set for myself.
6. Who do you consider to be your mentor(s)?
Fred Rico and Tim Richards
7. What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to things outdoors and oh yes...I love to relax.
8. What area of your radio "game" do you most want to improve?
I think there is always room for improvement on the air.
9. If you were to leave Radio today and you could choose any other occupation, what would it be?
I'd get into Social Work. In some form I'd be helping others.
10. It's Saturday night at 11:55. Where in Tucson do we find D-Wayne?
The hottest night spot in Tucson, Sharks nightclub downtown.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Ha! That's easy. I wanted to be a DJ and I was fortunate to make that path for myself.
If you had to eat the same meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner for two weeks, what would you want the menu to be?
I think it would have to be pizza. It's good cold or hot.
