Some rich guys are paying $55 million for The Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News and philly.com. This is the fourth ownership of the paper in six years. The price keeps going down, too. Here's the thing: It probably CAN'T be made profitable, at least not with the present staffing and infrastructure. Could Philly end up the first major city without a newspaper?
