Huge Cowboys Win. Damn, That Sucks To Have To Admit
-
We were told that the Seattle Seahawks were invincible, the best in the NFC, unbeatable at home. Then they lost in San Diego and they were still being touted as the best, still unbeatable in front of the vaunted 12th Man. Russell Wilson was the best, unflappable; you couldn't throw near Richard Sherman because he'd pick everything off; Marshawn Lynch and Percy Harvin were unstoppable weapons. And then Dallas went up to Century Link Field and dominated the Seahawks. The final score wasn't indicative of how completely lost Wilson looked, how ineffective the Seattle defense was, how the offense couldn't get anything going to the point where it wore out their own defense. And that raises two questions, one being the boring one of "Are the Cowboys real?" (yeah, unfortunately) and the other being "Is any team as dominant as the Seahawks were supposed to be in the NFL anymore?" (AP via Seattle Times)
