Forget This Old Volvo, I'm Buying A Tesla... Wait, HOW Much?

Apparently, people are changing cars faster because they want the new gadgets like the digital dash, back-up cameras, anti-skid tech, all of that. Even a car from 2011 is, to some people, hopelessly out of date. One thing the article doesn't mention, though, is that a lot of that new tech is also not quite ready for prime time -- it doesn't work all that well at all times, or it's hard to use (coughFordSynccough), or it's really unnecessary. I still drive an old car ('99 model), and while I would want newer cars' safety features, a simple radio upgrade was enough to satisfy my gadget lust. (Detroit News)
