The deer population in several states is out of control, and we have ourselves to blame. First, their natural predators went away, and then, their single biggest predator -- humans -- decided that we shouldn't shoot them, because feelings. Finally, we planted stuff in our own backyards that provides a veritable Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes buffet lunch and dinner for them. And now, there are too many deer in the suburbs, even expanding hunting won't control the population, the only natural predators we could bring in, like mountain lions, would endanger humans, too, and... well, this isn't good, is it?
