So You're Looking For A Reason To Cut Back On Fast Food
-
The thing that the labor groups pushing for, as in this Massachusetts initiative, a $15/hour plus benefits "living wage" for fast food and big-box store workers that never gets addressed is: who's paying for all of this? The answer is something they don't want you to think about, which is that it's going to be the working poor and middle class paying for it, because that's who's eating fast food and shopping at Walmart. The wealthy have better options and take them. This is reallocating "wealth" from the people who can least afford it. (WCVB-TV/Boston)
