I Didn't Even Know They HAD Batteries, Come To Think Of It
-
Ever take stuff home with you from work? You know, office supplies, that kind of thing? You're an amateur compared to this cell phone tower technician who's been accused of stealing 4,000 tower batteries from the many sites he works on. He took them to a scrap dealer who had them up for sale; when the cops traced them, the shop owner turned over the name. But it's like we see for scrap metal: If the dealer doesn't ask any questions, the crime's just going to go on forever. Theft of stuff like copper and batteries is pointless unless you can convert the stuff into cash. (WPVI-TV/Philadelphia)
