In Seattle's Capitol Hill district, there's a soda machine that's become a landmark. Why? Because it's old, and because it serves up random, weird sodas. For 75 cents, you might get a brand of soda that hasn't been in circulation for years, but it's random. Nobody knows who stocks the machine, or who even owns it. It doesn't have a permit, it's plugged into a business that looks the other way regarding power usage, it even has a Facebook page. It's weird. And, yes, next time I'm in Seattle, I will seek it out. And I don't even drink soda. (Seattle Times)
