Because You Shouldn't Be Working As A Salesman For Your Kids
-
It's gone viral, and when you see it, you'll understand: It's a flyer allegedly sent out by a school PTA in lieu of bake sales and other fundraisers, offering an honest way to solicit donations. In short, it offers several tongue-in-cheek options for parents to just write a check instead of having to bake or walk in any "-thon" or bother family and co-workers or sell anything. There's even an option to give $100 if "I really wouldn't have helped anyway, so here is $100 to forget my name." It's a reaction to all the cookie selling and pledge drives everyone's subjected to, and whether it's real or not, it's what all PTAs should be doing. Really, I don't want a box of Thin Mints; just let me off the hook with a few bucks' donation and we're good. (CNN)
