How About 1 Second Of All-Out Exercise 60 Times A Day?

A while back, they told us that we all need to exercise at moderate speed for at least 30 minutes 3 or 4 times a week. Then they told us, no, go all out for a minute, then rest, then all out again, over and over in intervals but only for, like, 10 minutes. Then they told us, no again, moderate exercise so you can talk without effort while doing it for a half hour. Now, back to intervals, with a study that claims one minute going all-out equals 45 minutes of moderate exercise. Don't like that? Wait a few weeks. Seriously, we have no idea what works. And they wonder why most people don't bother and just sit in front of the TV and order a pizza. (New York Times)
