Every time someone robs a mall jewelry store, I wonder how they can get away with it, considering they have to smash, grab, and run while being very visible with crowds and security people all over the place. But it's especially weird when someone goes into Bloomingdale's and cuts the security cables and steals jewelry while the store's open for business. It takes a few seconds per piece to cut the cables, and they can't stop the guys from running out? (San Diego Union-Tribune)
