And The Weather Report Said Nothing About Raining Students
-
A woman badly injured when a visiting student fell to her death out of a window at an Art Institute of Philadelphia dorm is suing the school and building owner for not adequately barring the windows. The dead student's estate is also suing over the same issue, and it raises the question of whether the school or building owner should have anticipated students climbing out the windows or throwing stuff out the windows. And if they DID bar or lock the windows and there was a fire and people couldn't escape, would they have been liable for that, too? (Philadelphia Inquirer)
