After two years, some Black Lives Matter protesters who blocked a freeway in L.A. have gotten their charges dismissed as prosecutors decided not to retry them, mostly because a jury couldn't decide on whether they were exercising their freedom of speech or causing danger to the public. Why can't it be both? You know the basic topics in this one: free speech/protest and what takes precedence when the speech interferes with someone else's rights. (Los Angeles Times)
