Another Reason To Leave Comedy To The Comedians

What's an appropriate joke about a political opponent in an age when pretty much every joke can become a social media outrage? In Alberta, at a golf tournament for oil company executives, someone went to the driving range and put up a picture of Alberta Premier Rachel Notley's face as a target, and now everyone's apologizing on several counts: that it was inappropriate to do a "target" in light of Jo Cox's murder in England days earlier, that it's always inappropriate to use a woman's face as a golf ball target, that it's misogyny. Maybe it's all of the above or none. It's not particularly funny in any event, though. (Calgary Herald)
