One Person's Paradise Is Another's Hell On Earth

This article notes that the data shows natives moving away from Seattle while out-of-staters pour in, and I'm always interested in why people move. The natives, in the case of Seattle, are not pleased with congestion, crime, and the cost of living, but if you're arriving from New York or California, you may perceive those a little more favorably. But the question for you is: Have you thought about moving to a cheaper/nicer/quieter/more exciting place yourself? What would motivate you to pack everything up, sell the house, and head for a new location? (Seattle Times)
